We are seeking a Buying Associate that will be responsible for identifying, grading, evaluating and pricing diamonds, jewelry, precious metals, coins, watches, and gemstones. Our Buying Associates should be able to accurately identify synthetic/treated diamonds using GIA evaluation techniques. Buyers will need to have excellent communication skills and should be comfortable working with the public. Must be an extremely organized self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Work with customers to educate and authenticate jewelry to include diamonds, designer pieces, coins, gemstones, and gold fashion to then present competitive offers.
Responsible for identifying color, clarity, size and any treatment of diamonds utilizing industry standard and specialty equipment. (equipment provided)
Enter specifications, including product category, description, condition, weights, and measurements into POS.
Other duties as directed by the Manager
Qualifications:
2+ Years in Jewelry Industry with Retail Experience (required)
1+ Years of buying precious metals and diamonds (required)
Passion for being in the jewelry industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of jewelry industry pricing trends and authenticity
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
